The 2nd Cohort of the Private Adaptation Investment Bootcamp Kicks off in Nigeria

On the 6th of July 2023, the Private Adaptation Finance (PAF); implemented under the NDC Assist II global programme organised a kick-off event for the second cohort of Private Adaptation Investment Bootcamp (PrivABoo) programme. The main objective of the event was to formally launch the programme and highlight the expected activities and outcomes for 5 selected Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria. These SMEs were selected through a rigorous and transparent process and will receive targeted support on investment readiness and capacity building to scale up their adaptation relevant business models and mobilise additional capital/investment. 

The Private Adaptation Investment Bootcamp (PrivABoo) is an 18 month programme by the Private Adaptation Finance Project, implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The programme which is being implemented in Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, and Pakistan has the objective to mobilize investment in private sector and provide solutions for climate change adaptation & resilience.
