Objective
SEDIN supports implementation partners in improving the employment and income situation of MSMEs. The programme cooperates with partners at the federal, state and local levels.
Now in it’s 4th phase The Sustainable and Inclusive Economic Development for Decent Employment in Nigeria- SEDIN, a programme of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), promotes MSMEs’ competitiveness and decent jobs in Nigeria.
SEDIN also works on the following;
- Strengthening business entrepreneurial ecosystem
- Improving access to new markets & innovations
- Promoting MSMEs access to finance including alternative funding options
- Supporting improved service infrastructure and environmental sustainability
- Improving framework conditions and investment opportunities
- Strengthened female led MSMEs through targeted support
