On the 25th of September 2023, the head of the GIZ-SEDIN Programme, Markus Wauschkuhn accompanied by other GIZ colleagues paid a courtesy visit to the Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago. The meeting was productive with exchange of ideas, highlighting our commitment to sustainable economic development in this state.
During the visit, Markus highlighted the support of GIZ in Niger over the years, discussed key initiatives and partnerships aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, empowering local communities, and creating opportunities for economic growth. The Governor’s appreciation of GIZ’s work in Niger, acknowledging the immense footprint in the state and enthusiasm for our shared goals were genuinely inspiring.
