SMEDAN and PLASMIDA Collaborates more with SEDIN

The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (SMEDAN) in collaboration with the Plateau State Microfinance Development Agency (PLASMIDA) and with the support of the SEDIN Programme engaged with stakeholders in a dialogue to create a wider understanding of the MSME ecosystem in Plateau state and to determine a way forward regarding the opportunities and challenges of the sub-sector.

The key objectives of the dialogue were to create awareness and ownership for the implementation of the National MSME Policy in Plateau State and to encourage effective collaboration amongst stakeholders to achieve the desired goal of a positive and working ecosystem.

The dialogue provided a platform to present and discuss key highlights from the 2021 NBS/SMEDAN MSME Survey report and also provided an opportunity for all stakeholders to network and exchange ideas on sustainable ways to improve the ecosystem. Over 70 stakeholders drawn from the public and private sectors participated in the dialogue.
