Partnership for more and better jobs in Plateau state

On the 4th of September 2019, the Pro-Poor Growth and Promotion of Employment in Nigeria Programme – SEDIN visited the governor of Plateau state, Governor Simon Bako Lalong. The visit which was led by SEDIN’s head of programme, Dr Detlev Holloh, was organised to discuss how the state and GIZ can enhance their partnership towards jobs and employment promotion in Plateau state.

The visit followed with a stakeholders’ consultation meeting where the GIZ team and key stakeholders from the private and public sector gathered to share information on their priorities and strategies for economic development in the state. Central to the meeting was the provision of ideas and recommendations that will support the planning process of a new programme phase and further cooperation models. This engagement is part of the efforts to promote collaboration and synergies across all SEDIN focal states.
